On the pressure to make everything useful

Usefulness as default

I often catch myself evaluating ideas too quickly.

Is this useful?
Can this become something?
Does it lead anywhere?

Those questions appear almost automatically.

When value becomes a constraint

Not every thought arrives with purpose.

Some exist simply to be noticed. When usefulness becomes the first filter, many ideas disappear before they have a chance to breathe.

Allowing space without outcome

Lately, I’m trying to let some ideas exist without direction.

No plan.
No goal.
No requirement to become anything more.

Trusting quiet accumulation

Perhaps value isn’t always immediate.

Sometimes it emerges later — from accumulation rather than intention.
